Wildcat Off Season Workouts

The Wildcat Basketball Program has been conducting off season workouts Monday-Thursday, 6:00-8:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM-12:00 PM. The workouts have focused primarily on strength conditioning and cardio development. We have spent many hours in the weight room lifting weights, in the dance room doing the Insanity Workouts, and in the gymnasium workinig on agility and speed. The Wildcats that have not been involved in Spring Sports have been working hard and we are looking forward to the athletes who are competing in spring sports to complete their seasons and join us in the workouts. The workouts play a major role in player development, preparation for the aggressive summer season and in preparation for the 2013-2014 basketball season. Championships don't start in November, they are made now, in the off season while other teams are resting and relaxing.

2013 Wildcat Summer Program

The Wildcat Basketball Program will conduct an aggressive and challenging summer season. The Varsity program will be competing in two summer leagues, Canada (start date TBD), and Sequoia (start date June 12th, games played on Wednesday nights). The Frosh Soph will be competing in the Sequoia Summer League (start date June 11th, played on Tuesday nights). The Varsity it currently scheduled for three summer tournaments, No Frills Tournament (Albany HS) 22 June, Menlo Atherton Summer Tournament (MA HS) 29-30 June, and the Skylline Summer Tournament (Skyliine College) 6-7 July and 13-14 July. In addition to competing in these events, the entire basketball program will be conducting weekly individual workouts, position clinics, team practices and open gyms. The location of these internal program activities is TBD based on the construction schedule and completion date of the upper gym re-flooring. We are looking forward to welcoming incoming freshmen and encourage any incoming freshmen that is interested in trying out next season are encouraged to participate in the internal workouts and summer leagues. More information will be posted later and weekly schedules will be communicated through this website, through the Team Captains and from Coaches as the information becomes available. There are no fees for participating in the summer workouts or events, so the only excuse for not participating and getting better is No Desire and Commitment.
