Music Theory - Drum Patterns in MIDI Editor This exercise puts some basic music theory to work by making simple drum beats using the MIDI Editor Window. The Main Pro Tools Windows This lecture goes over just about everything in the Edit and Mix windows, the main windows you will use in Pro Tools. This is not an exercise, but the content of it will be quizzed. Project 1 - Importing MIDI File This project is pretty straightforward, but will give you the opportunity to simply focus on sounds. Import a MIDI file of a popular song and choose the sounds you think make it work. Finish off by adding a few effects and bounce to disk - there you go.
