Due to extensive construction on our campus this summer, our summer school programs will be spread out among three campuses:
ALearn is a pilot program targeted at bolstering a student's command of the Algebra I curriculum so as to ensure success in Geometry in the ninth-grade. Students who complete the ALearn program will be very well positioned for success in Geometry. The class is taught by a member of the Woodside Mathematics Department, and the program also has a strong emphasis on colleges and universities.
Students who enroll in the ALearn program are great candidates for the AVID program, which is a program that extends over all four years at Woodside, and is designed to assist students who are first in their families to attend college.
Quetions? Please contact Pilla Zargar, AVID and ALearn Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Have you asked yourself:
Is the Math Acceleration Program right for me?
If I advance an entire level of Mathematics, won't I exhaust all of Woodside's offerings before my senior year?
What does Woodside High School offer beyond AP Calculus AB and BC?
Please review the links below to review the full spectrum of Woodside's offerings in Mathematics. Thanks to our articulation and partnership with Canada College, we are able to offer advanced mathematics beyond the AP offerings. Students have the opportunity to take Canada College classes on the Woodside High School campus.
