These courses provide the foundation of basic English skills in a developmental
sequence for non-native (non-English) speakers. The courses concentrate on
building word power, recongnition of written English pattern, different levels
of comprehension, and personal reading. All course are assigned according
to level of English reading, writing, and speaking skills. Unlike bilingual
offerings where only Spanish and English are taught, ELL is designed for all
non-native speakers.
