Guidance Department Timeline of Activities

Decisions regarding the appropriate high school course of study for each student are a responsibility shared by parents, students and staff. Families must learn about high school graduation requirements, classes needed for entrance into college and university systems, and other post secondary educational options. It is important to plan a course of study to meet the desired goal. In order to facilitate this planning, it is necessary to prepare an individual four-year plan with your student. A copy of the four-year plan is available using the Four Year Plan. Start the process early by filling out the plan with your student. This information is critical for the decision-making process. The Guidance counselors will meet with all students in the Spring to update four-year plans and prepare registration materials for the following year.
