The Positive Coaching Alliance is a non –profit organization started in 1988 at Stanford University

It is a movement with vision of a positive youth sports
      culture through cooperation of coaches, players, and spectators.

Everyone attending the game is expected to maintain decorum consistent with educational values of interscholastic athletics by showing restraint and composure in the emotional climate of a game by following these rules.

1.                Refuse to bend the rules to win
2.                Honor the letter and spirit of the game
3.                A worthy opponent is a gift that brings out our best
4.                Show respect even when there is a disagreement
5.                Never add fuel to a fire
6.                 Never do anything to embarrass ourselves, our school,
          or our team
7.                 Live up to our own standards even when others do not
