Woodside High school Fall Sports Two weeks after start of school Cut-off date: Monday, September 13, 2004 Winter Sports Two weeks after the first legal practice day, November 1. Cut-off date: Monday, November 15, 2004 Spring Sports Two weeks after the first day of the second semester Cut-off date: Monday, February 7, 2005 **These are the final dates any student may join an athletic team unless he / she is still participating in a sport from the previous season. Example: A football team is in the CCS playoffs, it is late November and a student wants to play on the basketball team. The football player may be allowed to join the basketball team once the football season is completed even if it is after the drop-dead date. Joining an athletic team means that an athlete has turned in all required paperwork and has paid all necessary fees by or on the given date. Exceptions to these dates may be made by each individual schools Athletic Director and Principal or designee. |
