RESURCES

Guidance Information for Parents

Decisions about the proper high school course of study for each student is a responsibility shared by parents, students and staff. Families must learn about high school graduation requirements and the classes needed for entrance into college and university systems and other post secondary educational options, planning a course of study to meet the desired goal. In order to facilitate this planning, the guidance staff will provide assistance and information through a variety of programs. This information is critical to the decision making process.

Attendance reports are mailed as needed when your student has unexcused absences in a certain number of classes. Call your student's Administrative Vice Principal for more
information.

The COMMUNICAT, published by the Woodside High School's PTSA is mailed at the first of the month to the home of every Woodside High School student. This very important newsletter will give you the latest news of importance of your student. The administration, guidance department, student activities, career center and other school departments use this means of communication to keep your informed of the things you need to know about your student's school. PLEASE READ THIS EVERY MONTH.

The COMMUNICAT will give you more precise dates when information is mailed. If you do not receive report cards, or other mailings, please be sure that we have your correct address in our computer and that your student is not intercepting your mail.
