Thank you for your interest in Woodside High School. Today, parents are fortunate to have a choice as to the high school to which they send their students. Woodside High School has a strong tradition of academic success, and graduates earn acceptance to the most competitive and prestigious universities and colleges in the country, as well as overseas.
Woodside High School serves a broad spectrum of student needs, from intensive special education to university-level Calculus and Stats. All of our students demonstrate academic growth in our high-stakes assessments, as evidenced by our recent CA Similar School Ranking of a "10." We invite you to take a look for yourself.
Our robust Advanced Placement program provides an opportunity for students to earn college credit; Advanced Placement courses are the most widely accepted courses in colleges and universities in the United States. Our Green and Clean Academy is up and running; get your student in on the ground level of this exciting program. Also new to Woodside is Robotics and Engineering Technology I & II, which is sure to bolster the phenomenal success of our existing Robotics Team 100.
Our Freshman Transition Program ensures a smooth and guided orientation to high school and the various components of student life. Our trained peer leaders work with all freshmen students throughout their first year.
Our Parent Tours offer an intimate look at Woodside High School. Talk to the principal and a member of the administrative team, ask as many questions as you like in a small group setting, visit classes, walk through the campus during passing periods, get a sense of the friendly and academic culture of this exemplary comprehensive high school. |
