Dear Woodside High School community,

I feel very fortunate to have this opportunity to return to Woodside High School as Interim Principal. It is a great honor to represent and to work alongside an incredible group of educators who are dedicated to the concepts of collaboration, advancement, and professionalism. Every year, our community adapts to an ever-changing world and consistently rises to the challenges of meeting the expanding needs of individuals and their families.

Woodside High School offers a learning community built on the foundation of rigorous standards, collaboration amongst all stakeholder groups, empathy, respect, and the pursuit of excellence and well-being. This learning community provides students with the opportunities to explore their interests in a diverse, multicultural environment.

The last sentence of Woodside High School's mission statement reads: "Our graduates will be self-sufficient adults, worthy candidates for any career path, and active, fulfilled, and engaged members of their community." We are focused on the needs associated with preparing young adults for a competitive, technological, and multicultural twenty-first century.

Students also have the opportunity to engage in a broad range of spirited extra-curricular offerings, from clubs and academic teams to athletics and the performing arts. We continue to receive wonderful support from our parent groups who do much to sustain and contribute to the quality of our extra-curricular offerings.
