Dan Rogers - Head Varsity Baseball Coach
BIO
Dan Rogers graduated from Woodside High School in 2005. He then attended Santa Rosa Junior College where he was named an All-Conference catcher in 2008. After his sophomore season at Santa Rosa, he transferred to Texas A&M University Kingsville where he made the transition to pitcher. As a senior in 2010 he amassed 87 innings while compiling an 8-1 record with a 3.93 ERA. Dan was named first team All-Conference, All-Region, and was named team MVP following his senior season. He then went on to play for the Swift Current Indians (Canada), Mulgrave Rebels (Australia), Zurich Barracudas (Switzerland), and pitched several seasons professionally for the San Rafael Pacifics of the Pacific Association. Dan was the head coach of the Zurich Barracudas in the Swiss National League in 2012, and began coaching at Woodside in 2013. He graduated with honors from Texas A&M Kingsville in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science. Dan earned his teaching credential from Notre Dame De Namur University in 2018 and is currently the middle school Physical Education Instructor at Selby Lane School in the Redwood City School District.
