Robotics Boosters

Role of Robotics Boosters

In 2021, the Woodside High School Robotics Boosters organization became a 501(c)(3) to help raise funds and provide a dependable revenue stream for the robotics program at Woodside High School. Our mission is to encourage, guide, and support all WHS students, furthering their STEM education and preparing them for the challenges of tomorrow. The Boosters organization is committed to working with the administration, parents/guardians, mentors, coaches, and the local community to create an outstanding robotics experience for all Woodside High School students. Booster membership is open to all parents of participants, mentors, and coaches, but participation is not a requirement.

Woodside High School Robotics is a remarkable program, but also an expensive one. Annually, we need to raise $40,000 or more to cover the cost of entrance fees, materials, tools, equipment, and travel to competitions. All funds are raised through corporate sponsorships and private donations as we do not collect dues from our team members. By supporting the WHS Robotics Boosters program, you are helping to create the next generation of innovators, engineers, and problem solvers who will continue to shape the world.
