Infinite Campus & Canvas

What is Canvas?

Canvas is a very robust learning management system that is widely used by education institutions in our area, most notably the San Mateo Community College District, California State University system,University of California system, and Stanford University. SUHSD adopted Canvas during the 2017-18 academic year.

The URL for all users is sequoia.instructure.com

Parent accounts are automatically setup by the district. Login information will be mailed out during the Online Information Update (OIU) in Spring.

What is Infinite Campus?

Infinite Campus (IC) is our Student Information System. Although teachers maintain their daily gradebooks in Canvas, teachers will submit official grades throughout the year via IC. For most sites, this happens 8 times per year for progress reports, quarter, and semester grades. Students and families may also use Infinite Campus to review transcripts and check attendance.
