Learn more about robotics - check out Woodside High School’s very own Team 100, The Wildhats!

Founded in 1995, Team 100 competes in the FIRST® Robotics Competition. FIRST® is an international organization that inspires and prepares young people to become the next generation of technology leaders. Through hands-on programs, FIRST teaches STEM concepts, fosters innovation, and builds self-confidence, leadership, and communication skills.

Every year, FIRST releases a new game with a unique set of technical challenges. Students work side by side with mentors to design, build, program, and market a robot while developing skills in engineering, software, graphic/video design, communications, and more.  Then, they put their robot to the test, competing against other high school teams from California and beyond for a shot at the championship.

Woodside Robotics (Team 100) is open to every interested WHS student, with no membership dues, fees, or prior engineering experience required. Students learn the necessary skills at our regular work sessions.  
Stop by J-1 to meet the team and learn more: Wednesday (2:45pm - 6pm), Friday (3:40pm - 6pm) or Saturday (9am - 3pm).
