HUGE Congratulations to Track & Field Wildcats: Mattheo Lacasia (400M) & Evan Usher (Discus & Shot Put) who dominated at

CCS Championships on May 24th (Gilroy HS) and this past weekend at the CIF State Championships (May 30-31st)!

Mattheo prevailed with a 1st place finish at CCS Championships with the time of 46.92 and earned 4th place among the fastest

in the state with the time of 47.14! Evan Usher earned a 2nd place at CCS Championships in Discus Throw at 162’08 distance

The two seniors collectively earned Woodside HS a 17th place team finish out of 115 high schools! This is just the beginning for

these two scholar-athletes as they continue with their sports at the collegiate level. Many thanks to our Head Coach Chris

Pedrin and all of our assistant coaches and community / alumni volunteers who train with our students. Go, Wildcats!
