Senior year is fun, bittersweet, and also a bit hectic. Make sure you celebrate all you've achieved and create lasting memories of your last year at Woodside High School.
The purpose of this area is to provide information to students and parents that pertains to Seniors. Please know that this page will be updated when information is available.
Graduation is scheduled for Friday, June 5, 2026, at 9:30 am.
The graduation ceremony will be held at Bradley Field rain or shine. Tickets are NOT required for the event*. Seating is available on both sides of the field.
*Please note that WHS will follow and state and county guidelines if they are in effect.

Thank you to all who have purchased a ticket for grad night. Wednesday, June 3 is the LAST OPPORTUNITY for anyone to purchase a ticket. Those who want to get one must email Ms. Myers at korinnmyers@gmail.com.
For the night of, here are some important reminders to help make the event smooth and enjoyable.
*Seniors must arrive to campus (WHS) no later than 8:30pm. Each senior will be checked in and given their wristband for entrance into the Boardwalk. The check in table will be in front of the PAC. All seniors MUST ride the bus to and from the event. Seniors should wear comfortable clothing and bring a sweatshirt as it may be cold at night.
*Buses will leave WHS promptly at 9 pm. Seniors will board the bus once they get checked in. Each senior will be given a colored wrist band for the bus that they ride. Seniors will be asked to ride the same bus to and from the boardwalk. The boardwalk event begins at 10 pm.
Seniors will NOT be able to bring any food or drinks (including water bottles) into the boardwalk, So please leave all items at home and any bags will be searched before entry into the park. The boardwalk will provide all drinks/water, and food the seniors will need.
Attached you will find a list of events that the seniors can look forward to and a map of the boardwalk.
*Buses will leave the boardwalk at 1 am and return back to WHS campus by 2 am. All seniors MUST return back to WHS by bus.
*Thank you for your purchase and please make sure that every senior has completed the Liability Waiver form. Thank you to those that have already done so. At this point I'm still missing around 60 waivers.
*Event Registration and Liability Form: Required for all student attendees at grad night. If the waiver has not been completed by June 4th, the student will not be permitted to board the bus.

Woodside High School will be hosting an in-person graduation ceremony for students who have met all requirements to graduate. This ceremony will occur on Friday, June 5 at 9:30 am on Bradley Field. Currently, the school is able to open the ceremony to all who wish to attend. Admission to graduation is free and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please read the attached letter for important information and dates.

The link to order cap and gowns closed in March. Extras will be available for students who did not order one. Students just need to come to D7 during distribution and we will assist you.
Cap and gowns will be distributed during lunch on Wednesday, May 20 out of D7. The items will NOT be available before this time. Seniors who can not come at this time will be able to come after May 20 to D7 during brunch, lunch, and after school*. DO NOT COME DURING CLASS TIME TO PICK IT UP.
*Ms. With is available until 4pm on most days.

The in-person graduation ceremony will be live-streamed from Bradley Field. The live stream will open at 9:15 am and the ceremony will start at 9:30 am. People do need to register to watch the ceremony so it is recommended that people do this in advance. There is no charge to watch the ceremony. Please go to bit.ly/WHSgrad26 to enjoy the ceremony.

Please clear any detentions and fines now. Please check Infinite Campus about detentions and My School Bucks at bit.ly/whsbucks regarding fines. Students can also check in with Ms. Ken in the Library and Ms. Garcia in D-5 as well as their AVPs if they have questions about any fines or detentions. The last day to serve detentions will be Tuesday, May 26. Students need to be cleared in order to participate in the graduation ceremony.

May 20 CAP & GOWN –All seniors participating in the graduation ceremony are to pick up their orange cap, orange gown, and tassel in D7 during lunch only. Students are only allowed to wear the provided orange gown during the ceremony. NO DECORATING CAPS! Students who did not reserve a cap and gown should still come at this time to get one.

June 3 CLEARANCE FORMS- Clearance forms will be distributed to seniors in their Econ/Govt class the week of May 18. Seniors are required to turn in their clearance forms to guidance by 2:30 pm on this date. In order for a senior to be cleared, he/she will need all of the appropriate signatures as well as have no detentions. Students who do not turn in their clearance forms will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony.

June 4 GRADUATION REHEARSAL- 9:00 am-10:45 am on Bradley Field.
Graduation rehearsal is a MANDATORY practice for all seniors who wish to participate in the commencement ceremony. Students will go through the full graduation practice multiple times. It is recommended to wear sunscreen. Students who do not attend the full graduation practice will not be allowed to participate in the commencement ceremony.

June 5 GRADUATION - 9:30 am Bradley Field
Graduating seniors should arrive no later than 9:00 am and report to the I-Wing lawn. Graduates are to line up according to their assigned row. Seniors will begin lining up around 9:20 am and will march onto Bradley Field at 9:30 am. Following the ceremony, graduates are suggested to have a meeting area with their families.

- Can I still get my cap and gown?
- Yes! Graduates have until Wednesday, June 3 to pick up their graduation attire (cap, gown, tassel)
- Can I decorate my cap?
- NO
- What should I bring with me on graduation day?
- Students are advised not to bring anything with them when it is time to line up for graduation. Students are meeting in the I-wing lawn on Friday morning and there is nowhere to store items. Graduates are NOT allowed to bring any purses or bags onto the field with them.
- Do I have to attend the graduation rehearsal?
- YES. Students who do not attend the rehearsal will be scratched from the ceremony.
- How do I know where I will be sitting for graduation?
- Students will check in at graduation practice and get a name card with their row number on it. Students are to hold on to the name card and go sit in the row that is listed. DO NOT SWITCH THE ROW. Students can sit in any seat in that row.*

- How will my name be said?
- At the practice each student is receiving a name card. Students are to review the name card and make sure the name listed is correct. Students can make corrections on the card and return the card at the end of practice. If students want their middle name read, they must write in the WHOLE NAME. No initials. No nicknames.
- Is handicap seating available?
- The area at the top of the bleachers on Bradley field is reserved for those who need assistance. Pop-up tents and chairs will be available. We ask that only one person sits with the person they are assisting.
- Is there going to be a live stream for the graduation ceremony?
- YES. Those who are not able to attend the ceremony in person will be able to view it through the NFHS website. Please go to bit.ly/WHSgrad26 (case sensitive). There is no cost to watch, but people may be asked to create an account.
- What is parking like on graduation morning?
- Parking will be very limited. Families are encouraged to carpool. No drop offs will be allowed on Churchill Ave or on campus.
