Robotics Team:

Team 100 FRC – 120 pound robots, Team 4800 FTC –Table top robots.

Join one or both teams and be involved in building robots that compete in FIRST Robotics competitions. They are not just about robots and engineering, they are much like a startup company. People with many different types of skills are needed. Get a start on your 21st in: CAD, manufacturing in machine shop, web design, programming the robot, electronics, business management, PR, social media, photo / video production and much more. Get a start on your 21st century career by joining us.

Safe School Ambassadors (SSA)

Our mission is to create a safe, comfortable environment at school so that all students can learn. We improve school safety by noticing, preventing, and intervening when we observe harassment during class, lunch, brunch, and before and after school. We will be doing team building, cross cultural communication, plan anti-bullying activities for individual classes and the whole school. We will also regularly review the SSA strategies, and keep logs of interventions.

Want to start your own club?

It is easy to do...just go to D7 (Student Activities' Office) and pickup and complete a club petition form. You will need a faculty advisor, 10 interested students, and administrative approval to be an official WHS club.

Once a charter has been approved, then the group is required to submit a club constitution to D7. An outline for the constitution is available.
