WHS Athletes and Students, 
Even though we can not be on campus , we can still use Distance Learning time to stay fit:  building strength and endurance in order to physically prepare for our upcoming athletic seasons.  Through generous donations to the Athletic Boosters Organization, we are very fortunate to be able to provide Strength and Conditioning training routines for our students. General workout routines will be posted during this season below and our Strength and Conditioning trainer, Dan Peterson, is also willing to create individualized workout plans for any student-athlete or Woodside High School team if requested!   Please take advantage of this opportunity to keep all of our students at Woodside moving and ready for next year’s activities! Dan Peterson

Coach Peterson has been in the fitness industry for 40 years as a personal fitness trainer. In addition, for the last 12 of those 40 years, he has trained young athletes of all ages.  He has a bachelors degree in Behavioral Science and a Masters degree in Psychology with emphasis in team dynamics, peak performance, and communication. He currently has two kids that are attending Woodside HS. He was a wrestler in high school, a boxer in the police athletic league, and pursued martial arts in multiple disciplines. He has also competed as a body builder and has won multiple championships.
