| We have earned a California Similar School Ranking of a 10! |
We are pleased to announce that Woodside High School has earned a Similar School Ranking of a 10. The "Similar School Ranking" system compares Woodside High School to other schools in the state of California with similar demographic compositions and similar enrollment numbers. It is the most true and accurate comparison of a school's performance.
Please visit the link below to see how the schools in the SUHSD ranked. Woodside High School is the only school in the district to earn a score of a 10 in this state ranking. |
| Newsweek ranks Woodside in the top 1500 public high schools |
Public schools are ranked according to a ratio devised by Jay Mathews: the number of Advanced Placement, Intl. Baccalaureate and/or Cambridge tests taken by all students at a school in 2008 divided by the number of graduating seniors. All of the schools on the list have an index of at least 1.000; they are in the top 6 percent of public schools measured this way (Newsweek). |
