Families are welcome to come and tour Woodside High School on Saturday, January 24, 2026. This is a great opporunity for adults as well as future students to learn about the campus from current students.
People are asked to sign up in advance for a tour slot. The tour will take approximately 45-50 minutes. At the end of the tour families will have the opportunity to speak with representatives from various departments and community groups.

Woodside High School is happy to have the basketball season return this winter. As we prepare to host league basketball games once again on campus, we would like to remind everyone of some key points.
Woodside’s motto is “Promote, don’t demote,” we want to cheer on our students but not at the expense of anyone else. Woodside is happy to be good hosts to all guests who come on our campus.
All games are played in the large gym. Everyone is to purchase a ticket. Tickets are sold at both entrances into the gym. Tickets will be sold inside the foyer of the gym. Those who have purchased an ABO season pass or have the Wildside Sticker are to check in at the table located inside the lobby. People are also encouraged to purchase tickets through the Go Fan app at bit.ly/WHSGoFan. Volunteers will check your ticket inside.
Tickets are sold for both JV and Varsity Boys and Girls teams. Ticket Pricing: General Admission $10, Students with $5, People 60+ $5, Children 6-12 (K-8) $5, Children 5 and under are Free.
When purchasing a ticket, please note that cash is preferred. We are currently limited to selling tickets with a credit card and will need to charge a processing fee. Cash helps the line keep moving. CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. The money raised through the gate goes into the general student body funds which supports ALL students on campus.
There are no assigned seats at the game. For double header games, only one side of the bleachers will be pulled out. For QUAD games, both sides of the bleachers will be pulled out. Traditionally the students sit in the student section or The Wildside which is opposite from the team bench.
We encourage people to avoid going in and out of the gym. Adults who need to step out must get a wristband to re-enter. STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN AND OUT PRIVILEGES. If a student leaves the gym, they will need to re-purchase a ticket to re-enter. Students are not to bring backpacks and filled water bottles with them.
We look forward to cheering on all the student athletes. Everyone is encouraged to wear WHS attire. If you don’t have any, please visit our Athletic Booster Organization website to order some items.

The prom committee is hosting another See’s Candies fundraiser. Purchase some chocolate for Valentines day and a percentage of your purchase will go towards the 2026 prom. Please go to bit.ly/SeesWHS26 to place your order.
To support the WHS Prom Committee, orders must be placed by January 31, 2026. All orders will be shipped directly to the customer.
WINTER DANCE

This year’s Winter Dance, A Night in Greece will be held on Saturday, February 7, at Hiller Aviation Museum. The doors open at 7:00 pm and doors close at 8:00 pm. The dance will end at 10:00 pm. Families are asked to pick-up their students promptly at 10:00 pm. Students who wish to leave the dance before it concludes must wait until the doors close and will not be allowed back into the venue.
TICKETS: Tickets for the dance will be on sale starting January 22 out of D7 during brunch, lunch, and after-school for up to 20 minutes.
January 22-23 $25 Wildside Sticker, $30 WHS Students, $35 non-WHS students
January 26-30 $30 Wildside Sticker, $35 WHS Students, $40 non-WHS students
February 2-6 $35 Wildside Sticker, $40 WHS Students, $45 non-WHS students
Student Activities accepts cash and credit cards (with a $1 processing fee). NO CHECKS!
Tickets are NOT sold at the door. Students must be off the administrative clearance list and show a current WHS student ID card to purchase tickets.
GUESTS - PLAN AHEAD: Woodside students are allowed to bring one non-Woodside guest provided a Guest Pass is properly obtained and processed by February 3. Guests must be in high school. Guest Request Forms, also known as Guest Passes, may be picked up in D7 or on the school website and require the signature of the Woodside student's parents and the Vice Principal of the guest's school. When the Guest Request Form is complete, the students are to turn it into their appropriate AVP office for approval from the WHS administration. The Woodside student will be given a slip that is to be brought to D7 to purchase a ticket.
DANCE NIGHT:
Our dances are very well attended and safe. Attire for this dance is nice or semi-formal; dress code applies. Students should bring the following with them to the dance: school ID, ticket receipt, guest pass (if applicable). Water and light snacks are provided at no cost. Parent volunteers operate a coat check. At the dance entrance, students will be screened by school administrators and campus aides. Students are NOT to bring overnight bags to the dance. Please note that Woodside High School works with an outside vendor to provide lights. There is a chance that strobe lights and smoke machines may be used. Students who may be sensitive to these effects should be aware.
Students who wish to leave before the dance ends must wait until all attendees have been checked in and the entrance has closed.

All students will reserve a graduation unit (cap, gown and tassel) at NO COST! Please go to the link bit.ly/whsgrad26 or scan the QR code. Families who are interested in purchasing graduation announcements and class rings should mark the boxes at the end of the form.

PARKING PASSES

Juniors and Seniors are allowed to purchase a school parking pass. In order to make the purchase, all required forms must be turned in. Passes are sold on a first come basis for $50.
At Wildcat Welcome Day on Tuesday, August 13 during the Junior/Senior time ONLY, there will be a station set up for students to submit their required paperwork and to pay for the parking pass. Students must bring their OWN COPIES of the the required forms. We will NOT be able to make copies for anyone.
